what is the deal with these tires?
its about $150 for a rear slick :shock: , retail price.
has anyone ever used these or have information on them?
i have heard they are/were a part of yokohama.

Hey !!!
I know what the deal is with these tires!!!

First you paint them white........

Then you turn them on their sides......

Put them in your front yard....

And then you plant flowers in them!!!

the shinko and mickey thompson rear slicks are used by drag racers that street/strip ride there machines. It would leave you SOL in a road race. They have a real wide flat profile and a super stiff side wall so you can run on low psi . They are great for drag racing :D

i forget which catalog i saw this in but when they are describing there slicks they say something about being road race tires for a road course. :shock:
