That's crazy how smooth they are. It doesn't even look like they're pushing at all.

Last years FX pole time at Daytona was 1:41.095, and Ben was way under that on the SS bike during testing (if you believe the lap times). He could have a good year.

600
Ben Bostrom (Yamaha) 1:40.25 (SS)-Qualifier
Josh Hayes (Honda) 1:40.2 (FX)-Qualifier and 1:41.22 (SS)
Jake Zemke (Honda) 1:40.6 (FX)
Josh Herrin (Yamaha) 1:41.4 (SS)
Neil Hodgson (Honda) 1:41.51 (FX)
Roger Lee Hayden (Kawasaki) 1:42.0 (SS)

I had the honor of riding with B-Boz at Miller in May and have to say that "smooth" and "fast" are hardly adequate words to describe his riding. It was really an impressive experience. Turns out that in addition to being a great rider he's also a really good teacher/coach and was able to point me in the right direction for my improvement as well. I'm hopeful that he has an outstanding season.

That being said....here's another one to be watching.

In FX Davies rode his Pirelli Diablo Superbike Slicks to a time of 1:39.53, while in Supersport Davies circulated the AMA Daytona course on his XZ-6R at a time of 1:40.65.
