Important Announcements:

Status Updates:
C. Nami:

Adding another endurance race other than the ones that are currently 30 mins (similar to 4 hour)

PR Events/advertising: going to be a lot more intense this year, let us know if you would like to get involved

If you are a ways out there, there will be a limited amount of events you would need to attend

Very positive directions we are moving in, and we are all very psyched to be here

Did we all vote?

B. Hasenhundl:

Registration is the same as last year, the early bird pricing is $225.

Digital licenses: charging extra for a physical license

Reach out to me if you want access or are struggling to access the forums

Do we have to go to race school every year? A: no

If we don’t know some of the rules, maybe we should re-attend race school :)

T. Thompson:

Nothing from me, but please reach out if you have any questions!

T. Maestas:

$1200: Insurance of some sort?

$1500: Deposit to HPR

ROR title holders that have lost their checks or have not cashed them..?

J. Dear:

Excited to be here, nothing new from me

J. Brown:

Sorry for not being there!

Start now if you have questions!

Doesn’t matter if you’re a novice or an expert

If your bike looks the same as it did the last round of last year, you are doing something wrong

I will be reaching out to instructors to see who is available for the race school.

Instructor meeting will happen in March to make sure everyone is on the same page

J. McKown:

Contacting corner workers; putting together a list of all the corner workers

New Facebook group for all of the corner marshals, easy to contact everyone

There is a corner worker handbook that no one really knew about, hoping to update it for this upcoming year

Marshal Poet: air fences in good shape? Are they are they not?

Lots of documents from him, some are complete, some are not

Hoping to get a lot of good procedure stuff going

Dakota: no longer equipment manager, but will meet at HPR 23rd to go over everything that is in the shipping connex

Was hoping to get names on the corner worker tshirts, but is not feasible for tshirts this year most likely

racingsafe.org

Helicopter rides are very expensive, so helicopter insurance may be worth it

Air Med Care: helicopter insurance for the entire family, we could get discounts as a group

Western Ambulance: make sure that this is something that can actually be used

Rider meetings are stale, need to be updated. Working on that

If you have white plates, you should be more involved in helping out other riders. Don’t hide, help out.

Tiffany has 2021 corner worker list

“Meet and Greet” for all of the corner workers instead of volunteer work

16 with a written note is the minimum age for corner workers

N. Bell:

Excited to be a part of writing some of the articles to come from race school!

Do not prefer public speaking, but my skills will really shine when writing articles!

Erik and I are locked and loaded and ready to write any news you guys may have. Shoot it our way!

PR systems are not created equally, each track is different

MRA announcer! We need one!

D. Stowers:

If you have any questions about the rule book, please send Jared and I an email!

All of the emails are updated on the mra-racing.org website, so please feel free to communicate

Working on little details in the rulebook

Try to get some people to come out from out of state and get some out of staters to come in state

Excited to make things better!

If the class is poorly attended a couple years in a row, then it does not make sense to continue to run it. If you like it, sign up for it or it will go away

Still talking about what we can do to make the super street program better

We need to advertise, advertise, advertise.

Not everyone knew there are 2 race schools this year

Something different needs to happen with Superstreet, this is all still in the works (does something different need to happen?)

Come up with a curriculum and pick a couple of people that can do licensing in case people can not come to race school

This would not be advertised, this would be word of mouth

E. Maxwell:

Looking for volunteers to help with PR events!

It is easier to work events with 6 people than if there are 2

Colorado Motorcycle Expo: Feb 19-20! Join us there!

We are all passionate about it, let’s get everyone else passionate about it!

Super Cross in April?

We are looking for everyone’s ideas! Please email us ideas so we can get the MRA out there to the public!

Trying to get a calendar together for the membership so everyone can see what sorts of events are going on across the state

We want everyone to volunteer and if you’re a racer, you can help spread the message as to what is so cool about racing with the MRA

Blair Harness won the special election for Rider Rep - Trophies and Class Sponsorship

Meeting adjourned: 9:02 pm

Member Questions:

Lots of questions/concerns about Super Street… what is going to happen, is anything going to change, is something changing, etc.

Do we have to go to Race School annually? A: no

Can we have a couple of designated people who can do licensing outside of Super Street/Race School?

Super Cross in April?
