MRA July General Meeting

Chris:
Last round seems to have gone well. Feed back about riders meeting being more efficient.
New rules and procedures for crash carts and other vehicles that are in the works and make race weekends a safer environment for everyone.
This round enforcing mandatory riders meetings. Will be issued a $25 fine first offense and penalties will be increase if more issues insists.
Kids on Wheels: Rule book is very specific about this. We have been very lax about this. NO KIDS ON WHEELS UTIL TRACK GOES COLD. Alos, Includes racers unless going to and from their race. Kids allowed on wheels Only after the track goes cold at night. Also means no kids in wagons. View 13.1J in the rulebook.
Phil:
Registration: stays open until race weekend. You can sign up online up until the races start.
Registration closes at 8:15am on SATURDAY MORNING so we can get grids done.
2nd year being AMA sanctioned club going to be doing a survey with racers to decide if we want to continue being AMA Sanctioned. Done around round 7 and 8
Live timing apps—Use Speedhive instead of Race Hero due to many issues. Use this for live timing, results
Race of the Rockies also on Speedhive
Tiffany
Refunds and Credits: NO more exceptions for refunds and credits. Read the rulebook. There are few exceptions you will need to talk to Tiffany. If your being transported to the hospital we will be lenient
Spectators need to come into office to pay
Need to bring pit pass into office to get your wrist band.
Sign will be at the front gate to remind people to go to the office to pay and get wrist bands.
4 hour: Transponders – we picked your transponder if you did not enter one. You will need to double check on this will discuss this further at riders meeting.
Tiffany will be doing all payouts through paypal and to your team captains account. You will be responsible to distribute winnings.
Jared: Not on meeting.

Working one on one on Friday to get them licensed up.
People need to understand that super streeters might feel safe riding in the rain however it is not in their best interest giving the different skill levels. It is also a hazard for the instructors to go out doing Super Street. If you want to get licensed up we have other outlets to do so. Talk to Jeff Brown and he will help you get licensed up.

Canceling Air Fence repairs on Friday
Has been called into work will not be attending round 4.
Bringing a coffee can this weekend for donations to the Corner Workers PLEASE donate for them staying and working extra long hours for the 4 hour event!!!
Out pouring amount of people offering to corner work for the weekend we are actually now OVER staffed. If you can do without working please volunteer for another weekend.

Dallas:
Bringing all previous rounds trophies and awards to this round. You can find Dallas and get your trophies that you have not picked up!
Dennis:
Rules for 4 hour—Bring extra Fire Extinguishers, duct tape, zip ties for canopy, anything you’ll need for 4 hour. Make sure your prepared.
Look at section 15 addendum for 4 hour rules. Also section 9 for race procedures.
Make sure to get to registration by 8:15am on Saturday morning if you decide to register late for the 4 Hour endurance.
4 Hour rule meeting during the lunch break on Saturday.
Races will be shortened due to 4 hour event. Please look at race day schedule.
You can set up 25 minutes before 4 hour starts. You can start taking stuff out to hot pit wall before that if you’d like.
Confirm that we are going to have a 25 mile per hour hot pit speed limit as in past years. And will be enforced!! Penalty for speeding in the pits will be 1 lap penalty.
Crashing will prolong your teams race. Just be prepared.
Tech: Will be responsibility of the racer to get re teched after a crash. Will be trying to be available to you to re-tech your bike. Will need to find Jared or Dennis to be re-teched. Will also prolong yourself and or your team. Try not to Crash!
ALL PITS should have fire extinguishers in your pits AT ALL TIMES!!!
