Ø It was a Mobile deposit the check got lost after deposit then it came through a 2nd time under a different name & dollar amount. Not even sure how the bank allowed that to go through
Ø It caused a little bit of inconvenience for us we have to close the checking account & open a new one
Ø Just so you all know in the terms & agreements on the mobile apps for deposits it says You’re responsible for either disposing of or retaining any mobile deposited checks
Ø Do we think a member did this? No the person involved was just careless with the disposal of the check.
Ø They have been calling Laci & Jim to get checks approved for payment
Ø Hopefully it doesn’t happen again
Ø Shit happens once it’s deposited you need to be more responsible for it that’s all
Ø The person helped us filed a police report the bank reversed it, we got our money back
