Ø Thank you to the Boardroom for having us.
Ø General Meeting Location in the future, if you know of any locations with a private room let a board member know.
Ø As far as the Walnut room going forward it’s up in the air, we will let you know more as the board discussions continue.
Ø The Boardroom was not prepared for this kind of turn out from our group, they have apologized a bunch & promised that next time it will be indoors.

Ø We have the Programs here tonight so be sure to pick one up, take a few to you friends, sponsors.
Ø We have been running up & down the front range delivering all the Print Media Programs, Superstreet Flyers, 2 for 1 gate passes, etc…
Ø Superstreet flyers keep a hand full in your car if you see some bikes in a parking lot they fit nicely between the seat & the tank. Keep 2 for 1 gate passes with you as well to hand out. We need spectators too Gate Cost is normally $12 per person with a 2 for 1 it’s $12 for 2 of them.
Ø When will sponsor packets go out? Hope to have them by the end of the week
Ø The Race School is this Friday & Staurday. Friday is the Classroom session Saturday is the on track portion.

Ø If you don’t know your grid spot at pregrid you go to the back, if you don’t preregister you pay a late fee & go to the back of the grid. KNOW THE RULES it’s your responsibility as a racer!!!

Ø Race School this weekend
Ø 62 students for the Race school, record numbers! Haven’t seen numbers like this since 06/07. In 2009 HPR opened we had a record number but that was a unique situation everyone was dying to ride the track, the 1st opportunity to do that was the MRA Race School so we had over 80 people signed up we had to split into 2 days. Saturday was cold, windy, raining & Sunday was down pouring rain so we had to cancel the afternoon.
Ø In the past we have been combining the race school with the HPR track day to help the MRA with cost, with this many students but now we can rent the track just for students & instructors.
Ø Registration for the school is closed NO we are not making exceptions. If you do for 1 you do for all so I won’t make any exceptions.
Ø Brownie does private trackday instruction, you can do superstreet, Ricky Orlando Riding School. Contact Brownie if you want to licenses up but didn’t get to sign up for the school.
Ø EVERY RACER MUST HAVE A RULEBOOK!!

Ø Track Marshal: Rick Grosse
Ø If you guys know of anyone that wants or needs a part time job we need about half a dozen corner workers. We had a few that are becoming racers & a couple that can’t do it this year.
Ø Taking care of the Friday track day at PPIR & Pueblo. We are trying to get as many MRA seasoned staff members to work those 2 fridaysdays.
Ø We are doing everything we can to make sure the walls are covered. We have 11-12 air fences to set up. We will need help.
Ø Pay for Corner workers is $75 perday for the first 3 rounds then it bums to $100 perday. $45 perdiem for 2 nights at out of town rounds (PPIR & PUEBLO) HPR is 1 night perdiem pay. Lunch, Water & Gatorade are covered for Sat & Sun.
Ø Novice hours, set up airfence, unload truck, teardown airfence & load MRA truck.
Ø We do pay our corner crew that does airfence set up & tear down.
Ø We do have specialty jobs but those are more of a promote within thing. Everyone will cross train at some point. The more events you work the more turns of the table you get.
Ø We have quiet a few ask about the MRA doing airfence support for the pikespeak hill climb, we will not be doing that this year. The bill was sent to the Pikes Peak Hill Climb After several of the airfence were destroyed by the semi truck that went through it…. They needed to be fixed. The Hill Climb was not happy so they have opted not to have us work the event this year.
Ø We have 9 sections from Roadracing world action fund. 4 from Gene Bazil Memorial Fund
Ø We appreciate you donating to the safety fund, it goes to new equipment, for the club & some things we need for Corner Workers. If everyone donates $5 extra every time they register for a race weekend the MRA would recoup our loss from the 2016 season.

Ø Rider Reps.

Rules: Shannon Moham
Rulebooks are done.
Everyone will need a break lever guard to get through Tech if you don’t have one get one.
Blair provided a bunch of data for practice lap times, we have come up with a time that is a guideline for those specific practices. Not all practices will have this.
You can’t race at the set time you can’t be in that practice
The groups are more on the faster side
Come round 1 it will be difficult for us to say something. If you have a question ask us.
If you have 2 bikes you can pay the $35 & get 2 practice sessions.
