Ø Report of Officers:

Ø President: Jim Wilson-
Ø Thank you for coming out to the MRA Genneral meeting
Ø We give you updates about how the Club is doing, upcoming events, registration etc…
Ø Busy time of year for the Board, we are getting ready for the season & to open Licensing
Ø 1st year for Brad, John & Warren so take it a little easier on those guys. They are settling into their new position nicely.
Ø Our goal is to promote a safe & competitive race environment that’s family friendly as well.
Ø One of the big things would be saving money
Ø We had a deficit last year, insurance, ambulance, MRA Truck clutch, Blowing the tire, quad blew up, plus a lot of additional expenses
Ø Our attendance was low last year

Ø We are making some price changes
Ø Licenses going up
Ø Raising it by $25
Ø Early bird $225 after March 15th $275
Ø Associate membership $75 & crew passes $55 they will stay the same
Ø Race 1 $140 race 2 $85 3rd same 4th $5
Ø Race your butt off will be $280
Ø We are one of the cheaper clubs
Ø Endurance only $100 for 2017
Ø Spectator entry fee $12 per person at the gate with the

Ø We didn’t make enough at the gate in 2016 to cover the cost we paid for the staff.
Ø Schedule has been out for a couple months posted on the Forums, Social media & email Blast.
Ø HPR Configurations
Ø Round 3 & 5 Full course, Round 4 & 7 North course
Ø The 4 hour endurance & the Inter mountain championship will be Round 5 on Aug 5th & 6th
Ø Moving the 4hr from round 3 to round 5
Ø Utah will be doing their Inter Mountain Championship July 22nd
Ø Will have a list of the classes posted online
Ø On our weekend we will be running it our way with our rules, on their weekend it’s their way & their rules.
Ø You will need to use their registration system to sign up for their round on July 22nd & 23rd
Ø Rules & tech- rulebooks are basically the same. If you plan on running the Inter Mountain Championship Please read the rulebooks for BOTH CLUBS.
Ø Champions
Ø Jen will handle the results for the MRA Weekend & they will have someone from USBA that does the results for their round.
Ø Full licenses reciprocity between both clubs

Ø Vice-President: Brad Morris-
Ø Contingency KTM & Honda coming on board
Ø Yamaha will have contingency
Ø Have worked with all past contingency people
Ø Looking at a few other options for contingency for 2017
Ø Membership will send out email blasts about opening for 2017
Ø If you’re new or don’t have a racewurx account you will need to contact Brad to get one set up


Ø VP Rules & Tech: Brett Leveque-
Ø It’ winter time now is a good time to get your bike looked over
Ø It’s a really good time to check that your bolts & safety wire are still good
Ø Loaner gear- 7-8 suits 11 pairs of gloves 7 boots & 3 back protectors. As you buy new gear consider donating it to the MRA we could always use it.

Ø Treasurer: Laci Lukchy-
Ø Jim summarized our financial situation going into this year
Ø Going into 2017 we will be following a budget.
Ø Hope to have better numbers than last year.
Ø If you’re having issues with pay pal contact laci
Ø Expenses across the board have gone up Ambulance, track rental, insurance etc…


Ø Secretary: Jen Grosse-
Ø Novice Hours- Every Novice is required to complete 4 Hours of service to the club. We have several different opportunities to get them done.
Ø Attending monthly General meeting you get 30 min per general meeting up to 2 hrs. The remaining 2 hours must be completed doing something else.- See Jen Jen
Ø Friday night & Saturday morning Tech- VP of Rules & Tech Brett Leveque needs help at tech on Friday nights & Saturday morning contact him for further details
Ø Air Fence setup & tear down, We have 11 sections of air fence we need to set up & tear down at PPIR & Pueblo. Conatact Track Marshal Rick Grosse
Ø Unloading & Loading MRA truck- We have several items to unload & set up on Friday afternoons. On Sunday after the race day we need help packing up & loading everything. Conatact Track Marshal Rick Grosse
Ø Dealer/ Sponsors Open houses- We need a few novices to work open house events for Motorcycle dealerships & Class Sponsors contact Rider Rep Public Relations John Borst

Ø New Rider Director: Jeff Brown-
Ø New people don’t be afraid to contact anyone board or other experienced racers we are all happy to help.
Ø Instructors Brownie will be contacting you about Race School meeting
Ø New racer school will be Friday night at Fay Meyers Sat @ HPR if we get weather on May 1st race school day we will go to the backup date on the 14th

Ø Track Marshal: Rick Grosse-
Ø Has some corner workers that are going to be racing this year. Gonna miss them working with you guys but look forward to racing with them.
Ø Need some new corner workers for the 2017 season, if you know of someone have them contact Rick for information.
Ø We have a limited number of spots available on race weekends, will send out an Email blast to open sign up.
Ø We pay our Corner Workers $75 perday for the first 3 rounds then pay goes up to $100 perday, they get $45 overnight Perdiem for out of town races, MRA provides Lunch, water & Gatorade for the weekend.
Ø You can work off your Novice hours by helping with set up & teardown of air fence at Pueblo and PPIR. You can also help Unload & load the MRA truck on race weekends.
Ø Had some issues with the MRA truck last year blowing the front driver side tire, clutch went out, Quad blew up etc… Consider donating to the Safety fund when you buy your license or register for you races. If everyone donated $5 we would have a good amount in the bank.

Rules: Shannon Moham-
Finalizing rule changes- Break lever Guard required
Slicks allowed in all classes except production cup
Points structure has changed for 2017
Completed laps will be determined by timing & scoring, if we start from original grids or running order will still be determined by Track Marshal
The HPR video equipment is not for spectator view or instant replay.
In the rarest of occasions the Board or track manager can view the video
Practice will be determined by lap times, will post something soon

Going to be handling the marketing for this year
Working on print media, will need volunteers to distribute to shops, can get your novice hours done.
Organizing an event list posting more content online as I get in touch with them
Tag the MRA in more posts please, we need everyone’s help to promote the MRA
If you have a friend that rides see if you can get them to try superstreet. Give them some 2 for 1 entry passes to come watch.

Stowers- Have officially taken over Michelin sales, trackside service, availability to pick up & mount your tires before race weekends, shop in Westminster.

HPR- track was profitable, the clubs own the track. The profit
2016 we had our 1st 24hr event it’s the same as Pueblo. Got great national press
