Ø We had a pretty good weekend. It was hot but good
Ø We had several people fall down but no one to badly injured
Ø Our Corner crew earned their money this weekend!!
Ø Used the lights went well, had some issues with the start/finish light but got that sorted out on Sunday Morning.
Ø Round 5 coming up not sure when we will be open registration, probably next week. We have 3 weeks till the next round. Registration closes Monday Aug 1st 2016 @ 11:59pm
Ø You must register & pay before then or you will be at the back of the grids.
Ø Next weekend Aug 23rd & 24th Z.A.R.S. will be at HPR. If you’re a MRA Racer you pay $130. Normally around $300.
Ø They will have tire change support; they will change tires regardless of what tires you race.
Ø Phil Pleiss father passed away he would like MRA family to come ride with him on Monday. His dad was supposed to ride with him so he would like to spend the day with his MRA family. If you plan on going let Phil know.

Ø Moham- Helmets & Race gear we don’t inspect your racing Equipment. At Round 4 we had a Superstreet rider whose helmet was DOT approved but not SNELL approved. When you think of helmets you need to consider they protect your brain! How much is your brain worth to you!! Not saying you need to spend X amount on a helmet but you really need to do your homework before you just buy one, look at reviews, talk to other people who have that brad, look at spec charts etc….
Ø Brett- if you need to get bike Teched on sat morning after the riders meeting see Shannon or Brownie.
Ø He has the inventory list of the donated or loanable race gear the superstreet people can barrow for the day. Have a lot of stuff what people seem to really need is boots.
Ø Thursday July 21st Quaker Steak & Lube bike night with Co Powersports
Ø Dennie burke hooked us up with fixing the MRA truck after the tire blew, he put on new stairs, fixed the backdoor & he fixed the tech ramp for us!! He gave us a great deal!!

Ø With that said, the Safety fund has no more money, this season has been very tough for us with vehicles.
Ø We had the tire blow on the MRA truck after the Pueblo Round we had to pay for towing , 2 new tires & parts to fix the whole front driver side, the clutch went out on the MRA truck before the pikes peak hill climb Transwest was able to replace it in time & we had to buy a new ATV.
Ø Any amount of money that you can donate to the Safety fund would be greatly appreciated.
Ø The safety fund is how we purchase new equipment.

Ø Rider Reps.

Rulebook: Shannon Moham-Absent

Promotions: Jason Madama
Need 4 novice for the bike night at quaker steak & lube.

Trophies: Joe LaGalbo
Trophies from round 3 & 4 will be recycled if not picked up by the end of Round 5.

· Press: Jim Brewer-
· Thank you Autumn for writing the article
· She did a great job while I was out of town for work.

Glenn- Feedback on the lights they are a long ways off the track feel like we can see the flaggers better.
Part of the issues is Not knowing where the lights are we know where the flags are, the flaggers put out a standing yellow for the 1st couple laps of each practice.
We could do a solid yellow so you know where to look for the lights
Turn 4 when the sun is shining on it the light looks red
The Red Flag will now be flashing so it catches attention faster.
MRA is the only standing start, all other clubs do rolling starts.
Start/Finish light is linked to the turn 1 light, might unlink them. Might make some sort of start finish switch.
Light in turn 1 hard to see that one if you’re committed to the turn could it be moved? No not really an option not sure where we could put it.
The stuff down in turn 8 concern that it is slick, there will be a few car weekends between round 4 & 5 should be good by Round 5.
Sam Coleman has shirts for sale in memory of Carl $20 per shirt, money goes to the safety fund.
