There is a production 400 class in which they can run, along with the r3 and ninja 300. You can race production 500 if you want though.

^^^^^ This. That bike is a good contender for 400 Production and that class is going to be a lot of fun this year. We have a couple dudes who race them in that class. I think by my count, there are three so far this year that I know of.
