Hello, I've been reading the rulebook to figure out what classes the Ducati 999 is eligible for and just wondering why the 999 is ineligible for Thunderbike. The 899 is allowed which is both lighter and has more horsepower. Thanks.

The bike is eligible and capable in a ton of classes, depending on the setup. The bike is over a decade old and we don't make class exceptions based on age and decade old performance in anything other than our vintage classes.

So it is eligible? I didn't see it in the list of exceptions and it displaces over 850cc which is the limit for the class. Thanks for the reply.

No it is not eligible for thunder bike. There are a ton of other classes your bike can race in. My statement was in reference to older bikes get out done by technology and once they are old enough they can race a modern vintage class.
