I am looking for details about tent camping at HPR.

Is there ice for sale at the track?
Will there be a food vendor this weekend August 7-9: breakfast, lunch, dinner?
Where does everyone go for groceries?
Is there a restaurant nearby or plan to eat at the track?
Other camping advice?

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for details about tent camping at HPR.

Is there ice for sale at the track? There used to be, contact Glenn Conser at HPR to confirm. I do not believe there is ice out there anymore.
Will there be a food vendor this weekend August 7-9: breakfast, lunch, dinner? There should be a new food vendor, but once again confirm with Glenn, they usually close at like 3 or 4
Where does everyone go for groceries? Byers general store, its 17 miles away so stop on your way out.
Is there a restaurant nearby or plan to eat at the track? Byers or Strasburg. 17 and 21 miles away, its a quick 15 min drive though since we are in the middle of no where.
Other camping advice? Hopefully it doesn't rain or your tent will flood, stay away from assholes with noisy generators like myself, its gonna be hot!Bring bug spray, all other camping advice applies other than that. Bring a shit ton of water...

There will be concessions on Saturday and Sunday but no ice will be available.
