Greetings.
I have two motors on my garage floor that I need to try and find homes for, or at least allow folks to have an opportunity to gain parts off of them before I commit them to a recycler or something.
History:
Father's day 2014 I blew the OEM motor in my 2008 R1 doing 80mph up Genesee Hill on I-70 heading west. The bike, with only a K&N filter and A&R baffles as mods, threw the #2 rod up into the stator, through the case:

Replacement engine #1 was purchased in Aurora, and while I can't vouch for it even starting, it did have transmission parts in the oil pan, so we elected to bypass it and find another motor. That second replacement motor is in my bike now and runs wonderfully.
So, two motors, one is the 08 OEM out of my bike (thrown rod) and the other is a 2007 motor with debris in the oil pan. I have an ECU (from the 07) and a wiring harness (from the 07) as well. I figured if anyone needs parts, it'll be this lot and I'd hate to have to pitch two motors when someone is in need. Various things such as clutches, external pieces and so on I *assume* to be good. But I leave that to interested parties to assess and then decide on.
If you're interested, let me know and you can come up to Brighton, see what there is to see and we can then discuss price, etc, for whatever you want to harvest off of a motor, if not take the whole motor itself. I'll probably leave this open until March when they'll likely take a permanent vacation.
