AMB transponder ????

I just purchased a used AMB Trans X 260 transponder off of ebay and was curious if I now have to purchase a subscription with My Laps in order to race and be timed?? Or do I just charge it, show up to the track give my serial number to a track official when I register and off I go.

If the transponder is a FLEX version (should be printed on the label) it will need the subscription, otherwise charge it and enter the number in RaceWurx.

The label say Trans X 260. And the case has AMB stamped in it. No where on the transponder does it say Flex. So if what you're saying is right, then I'm good???
