Hey All,

Would you all please just slow down for a weekend?! Jez. I know it's only the second time we've run the new configuration at Pueblo, but no less than 20 new class records were set. Without any further fan fare, here they are:

250 Production Cup #108 David Kibler 1:48.175
400 Production Cup #137 Michael Davis 1:53.413
500 Production Cup #213 Jason Madama 1:48.131
Colorado Class #626 Christopher Weed 1:44.724
Formula 40 #Rob Christman 1:32.583
Heavyweight SuperBike #410 Kelcey Walker 1:34.446
Heavyweight SuperSport #36 Bruce Browning 1:36.635
Ladies of the Rockies #Wyeth Jackson 1:44.810
Lightweight GP #626 Christopher Weed 1:40.347
Middleweight SuperBike #945 Shannon Moham 1:35.147
Middleweight SuperSport #Bruce Browing 1:35.568
Modern Vintage GTU #915 Christopher Coonshead 1:38.894
Open SuperSport #12 Ricky Orlando 1:34.760
Race of the Rockies GTU #410 Kelcey Walker 1:35.098
SuperTwins GTO #77 Pat Lansu 1:36.422
SuperTwins GTU #945 Shannon Moham 1:39.717
Thunderbike #217 Carlton Sorensen 1:36.007
Lightweight Endurance #945 Shannon Moham 1:43.269
Middleweight Endurance #921 Nyles Gourlie 1:38.681
Open Endurance #177 Tracey Schram 1:32.315

A few observations for anyone interested.
Shannon had three records taken from him, but managed to set as many in the process. This was more than anyone else. Of the eight classes that didn't have records set, half of them were the Novice/Amateur races. Hmmmm. Rob Christman who set the Formula 40 record found a lot of speed by Sunday and was within a second of Shane Turpin's outright record for the new configuration. Finally, when was the last time the Lightweight GP record at any of our tracks on a bike still legal for the class didn't have the number 945 attached to it? Well done Mr. Weed.

The records website and the Pueblo track records PDF have been updated so check them out at www.mra-racing.info or click on the banner in my signature below.

Thanks,

HAMMER

Bruce Browning was putting on a clinic in MWSS. It was fun to watch from the sidelines. Hope to see him up there dicing for the wins soon.

Yeah that's gotta be the fastest 600 I've ever seen especially in a straight line. We could at least keep him in sight until lap 6 or so in HWSS then the damn thing seemed to hit the nitrous button but unfortunatly he hit the ground soon after. I believe he'll be back so the clinic will continue at PPIR

Sorry guys but the clinic will not continue this year. Bruce broke his arm just above the elbow and had to have surgery to repair it. Now he has a plate and some screws in it. He is doing pretty good now but dont think it will be ready to race for a while.
