Anyone heard anything? Hoping it was just precautionary but I'm worried.

He was flown off the mountain. Injuries are severe but not life threatening. Will post more info later.

Where did he go down?

Glad to hear its not life threatening! There isn't a good to place to crash up there.

Was listening to the broadcast on the way to Pueblo this morning. They mentioned that Mike's group had left the start line and then said there was a rider down and a red flag. But they didn't mention the name. I kept wanting to hear the announcers say Mike's name and sector times, indicating he was not the downed rider. :( Apparently he crashed at the end of the straight by the Picnic Grounds, where there is a tight left hander. Best wishes for Mike for a full recovery.
