Not mine, just thought someone might want to see this MV legal FI racebike in not too far away Omaha for 2K.

Not mv legal if the new rule goes through

Care to elaborate? This SV was a 2003 so 10 years old as of next season, correct? I thought the rule change was going to actually INCREASE the number of model years that would be eligible, but I wasn't able to attend the rule meeting so I am curious why you're saying this. Since I ride an '03 R6, I am doubly interested!

Cheers,
Jamie

No need to elaborate.

The proposed rule would allow 03 bikes and THEN freeze the model year for some period of time.

The discussion at the rule change meeting did not favor the rule.

Should have a final verdict by the end if next week.

Ok I guess I had it wrong. I thought 02 was gonna be the last year. Because bikes like the 636 would have the advantage

Let me add to the MV exceptions. Currently we are looking at model year exceptions as Scott stated in an effort to put more bikes on the grid. In the future we may make the first model year requirement more than 10 years.

With such a slow turn over in new models being released, the same model bike that wins AMA supersport or superbike, should not be the same model that wins MV. For example the 2006 to 2015 r6 if it remains unchanged lol.
