View Full Version : Checking on race number availability

Who can I check with to see if a number is, in theory, officially available for next year if I am thinking about changing? I know what the rulebook says about needing to race a certain number of rounds to retain a number, and the number I am interested in doesn't have any results from last season, but that doesn't mean it isn't 'reserved'. So before I even start thinking about updating my profile / resume / bodywork I would like to check with someone since if it's NOT up for grabs, I would just retain my current digits.
Cheers,
Jamie

You can check here if the number was used this past season - http://www.mra-racing.org/index.cfm?action=results_2012&page=riderRESULTS
What number are you wanting?

Hi Jim,
I checked there and there's no results for the number (#88 ). Russell Strobridge has it currently. Now that I should be eligible for a white plate next year, I was hoping to drop the zero from my current #880! :D
Cheers,
Jamie
