Posting for former MRA Racer Matthew Lee...

1993 F2 track bike for sale, purchased by me in 2000 with body damage and slightly worn valve guides. I have the title but it’s been on the track ever since.

Beasley fiberglass body with catch tank (roughly repaired but operational), Fox Twin Clicker shock with Eibach spring (have original), Race Tech fork springs and cartridge emulator (have original springs), ignition advancer (have original), track approved left engine case cover (have original), fully safety wired, new Bike Master battery, Honda factory service manual and owners manual, low mileage Dunlop Q2 tires, misc parts new and used (mostly used), filled with antifreeze – would need distilled water for the track.

Suspension is set-up for 185 lb rider (weight without gear) for the track. Bike always passed MRA tech.

If bike is sold at the asking price, $650 cash, I’ll throw in my AMB transponder with house/car charger and original box. It’s been charged by me weekly and holds a charge well.

Photos below were taken a year ago - the bike still looks the same. To make this work you might need to copy and paste this URL into your browser.

The good: engine runs strong; handles GREAT

The not-so-good: it’s old; somewhat more warn valve guides results in occasional slight smoke at cold morning start-ups, not during warm weather.

Must pick-up in Colorado Springs. No email, please contact me or my voicemail at Matthew - phone: 719-473-9747.

Tony
What classes would this be legal for?
Is the price correct? $650? That's cheaper than converting our 250 to 17 inch wheels.

There are very few classes this bike WOULDN'T be legal for. The quick off-the-top-of-the-head-list:

ENDM,ENDH,ENDO
MWSS,HWSS,OSS
MWSB,HWSB,OSB
MVGTUm,MVGTO
AGTU,AGTO
NGTU,NGTO
RORU/RORO

It may not be "competitive" in anything but MVGTU/GTO, but they are a hoot to ride and are wicked fast in the right hands.

Do they hold up well when they are crashed?

depends on how hard you crash 'em...

as an aside... our insurance limits youth racers to 250cc until 16 years old. just fyi...
