Previous Minutes:

Officer’s reports:
 President: Tony Baker-
Greetings
Umteenth MRA general meeting of the year
Tony screwed up – double points vs. bonus point – R7 is going to be double points as it’s been announced all year.
The reason for extra points is that the structure is designed for a 10 round season – adding some bonus to the last round is to make up for the rounds that don’t get run due to 7 round seasons
There used to be doubleheaders, and that doesn’t happen any more either
Memorial day / Hastings etc
Double points is to ensure the financial viability of the club and provides and equalizer to the less than 10 round season
Excitement for the end of the season
North course at the next race
Will look at multiple configurations of HPR in the 2013 season North and Full are for sure, West may not be viable
Working on the schedule for 2013 already – there are some traditional weekends. Working to achieve the same schedule as this year, but it’s conceivable that we have 3 races in 5 weeks – prepare now.
