Hello All,

I am running BT016 on my street commuter bike and like them on the street. I have used them for track days. I suspect the edge grip would be considered to be too soft by some for track.

Is anyone else using the 016 for track or race? Has anyone tried both the BT016 and BT003? My understanding is we get compound choices with the 003. Hard to know about grip and wear mileage.

Thanks
Matt

there are 3 compounds of the 003 for racing and the rs003 that is a street tire replica, most times you will run a soft or med front and a med or hard rear depending on speed and temps. the bt16 is ok trackday to a point but will get greasy with higher temps like all street tires will but will, if the bike is dual duty get a set of wheels and run streets on one and race tires on another, sounds expensive but is way cheaper than a crash.
