Hi all,

I wasn't sure where to post this. The last couple of days I couldn't access this forum from my Windows machine, but all was well from my Linux laptop. I finally tracked it down to my antivirus software called avast. It seems it's flagging the site as harmful. I checked the following external scanners and they all indicate the URL forums.mra-racing.org is clean:

http://zulu.zscaler.com
http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=forums.mra-racing.org
http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/forums.mra-racing.org/

Finally I tested the site from my work laptop that has McAfee on it and it didn't find any issues, so I can assume this is a false positive coming only from avast.

So, if you know of someone who is having problems getting to the forum, find out if they are running avast antivirus. You can add an exclusion to work around it, but that's only if you feel the false positive IS a false positive as well.

Cheers,
Jamie

Finally an Anti-Virus that works!

Look at the shit we talk about and do on these forums and in the MRA. CLEARLY the MRA forums are harmful... good on Avast for finally figuring it out.

Nice one Tony! I suppose we could end the debate about round 7 points just by having everyone install Avast! :D

I have avast and ended up having to add the exception. I have had this problem with other forums in the past and those were caused by certain advertisements inside the forum.
