Hi all,
As some of you may know we have a new trackside vendor this year in Speedin' Motorsports. Brian and his crew are traveling to a number of our rounds this season and offering trackside service providing spare parts, accessories and some service.
In a recent inventory of their display products they came up missing a helmet.
The helmet is a Scorpion EXO 700 Sinister and has a graphic resembling wings on it. Here is a link to a photo of the helmet.

I don't think I need to emphasize how small our community is. Anyone who has done retail knows how small the margins really are in that industry. A loss like this is discouraging to vendors in that they lose any benefit they get by traveling to the races and supporting us.
I don't want to believe that one of our members stole this helmet. We have a number of spectators, visitors and other folks walking around in our pits at the events. I know our community to be generous and helpful as a general rule. Let's look out for each other, members, riders, family, friends and all.
This is not an accusation, Brian supports several riders and venues throughout the region and it is not certain that the helmet went missing at our event. I know that I, personally, leave a lot of valuable equipment out each weekend in my pit counting on our community to keep an eye on it. It serves as a reminder to take some precaution with your valuables and as a request to keep an eye out for others.
