So I was wondering if there is any info on the track surface down there. Have they been running cars on if yet. What is the surface like? How does turn 10 look after the drags?

Also are they offering a track day between now and the next race? Or is it only open the Friday before the next round? Any info would be appreciated.

I enjoy Pueblo and hope the new surface is that much better. Just wondering what grip will be like there.

I have sent an email to Jason Abney (Pueblo) and to Judy Faast (Faasst Performance) to get these answers for you.

So it sounds like there will not be one before the race weekend Friday. Shoot it would be nice to see what it's like before we all go out and tear our tires into orange peels on the rest of it :-)

Whoops had a typo there. Being a new surface I have a feeling it will be a lot like HPR when it was new and be tearing tires up left and right... There fore they will look like orange peels:-) just wanted to know if there had been any traffic on the track yet and was crossing my fingers for a track day to feel out the track before hand.

Are the Faasst days at PMP staffed with flaggers and a bus?

For any one interested there will not be another track day before the one prior to the race. There will be a total of four car track days on it before we get a shot which in my mind seems like a good thing to get some rubber down. They did not allow full track usage till the second of June which is also good t hear.

Fast says they will have a bus and corner workers there..................:-)

From Judy Faass:

Good timing, my friend. The track is in OUTSTANDING condition. We ran a wonderful event with cars last Sunday. The bikes are gonna love it! Turn 10 is very tight. I’m sure you have seen it, but the rest of the track is the same.

FAASST Bike Registration:

http://www.faasst.com/prodinfo.htm?sku=04012012132838-17

They can pre-register and pay there. We need Bike info the rest of our new system will collect name, email and phone.

$120 until June 16

THEN we are raising the price to $140 after June 16

Pre-registration is appreciated for our event. When they register / pay at the gate it holds up the line.

Gate opens at 7:30

Riders Meeting AT TURN 10 at 8:30

We go hot at 9

Track hot till 4 (if they are running Friday night drags)

Concessions will be OPEN

FUEL is now AT the track

To my knowledge your tire vendors etc SHOULD be able to work / sell at our event I have not heard anything otherwise from PMP :/

Pls email me or call if you need anything else, Tony. Thanks for working with us!

Looks like turn 9 has already had some patch work.

Turn 9 has a transition from digging a drainage ditch. It's smooth, but is starting to see wear and there are plans for repair. The curbing was lowered and about 1000x's times better than the previous 'ramp.'

Curb in 9 does look way better. I'm glad to see all this work and effort being put into PMP. It's my favorite track and hope we can try to go more often.
