there was a cut off?!!

I remember a riders meeting from last year and this was mentioned. A lap time of 1:58 was thrown out there casually as a guide. With the medium/slow combined for round 3 for the endurance race I am just curious because with the 250's having such a power disadvantage, I just feel that I pose less speed difference. I can run sub 1:58's I just try to give the faster guys as much of an open track as possible...I have to race them anyway...but just asking. I am probably going to run expert fast anyway, hoping I can learn how to stop being such a wimp and go faster!

sorry for the thread jack!

Louis, you should be in expert fast anyway. As should you Fuller.

I'm pretty sure this was a Turpin request last year :D .... In all means he was correct to ask for it but there has not been a cut off since.

Turpin asked for a 1:50 cut off which we refused to do but compromised with the 1:58 time.
There is no "official" cutoff time for practices. It's up to you to evaluate your level of riding and make the best decision in regards to what practice you will run. If you are having difficulty making this determination, I suggest getting with Jeff Brown and he can provide you with some guidance. It's also the responsibility of everyone to report any unsafe situations to the Track Marshal or other race day officials. If it's deemed that a rider should move to a faster or slower practice, we will make that recommendation to them.

:D I think we would be hard pressed to find even 5 guys running sub 150's this next round in practice....

Will there be a riders meeting at lunch for the Endurance?
Is pit-wall setup at lunch again like last year?

Yes, there will be a mandatory riders meeting at lunch AND pit wall will be available AFTER the riders meeting.
